    Looks to me like Trident is installing Hydraulic Everything:

    They appear to have a single cylinder on each pump.

    Steering is very smooth and positive and you are correct there is not a ps pump. The system uses an off the shelf teleflex helm that develops plenty of pressure and volume.

    True, the system would work fine with one cylinder but I like the symmetry of two.

    Good to see Wes went to hydraulic steering. I did a little consulting on that move in the early stages...............turned out be a pretty busy installation.

    Sea Star hydraulic is the helm pump manual system. They are inexpensive and work great.
    If you want the typical rack steering system I have one that I used one season and switched to the hydraulic. I have everything for $50.00 and shipping.
