For all you guys who might need installation work or engine assembly (race or ski), there is a business called Southern Thunder marine in Concord N.C. that can handle your needs. The owner Paul Fitzgerald has numerous years in the marine industry including several years working with Rudy Ramos ( Rayson Craft). He was also involved in Orange County Marine in Orange CA. where he built several circle and ski race boats before moving to Concord to pursue a career in Nascar as a shop foreman and a hands on guy at the track. He does excellent work and is very meticulous. His ph# is 704-902-7229, give him a shot. I'm sure you'll like his work.

By the way, Ive seen some of your work in Hot Boat.
    Very impressive.

Well, Billy B's right on this guy.
Paul's forgotten more about v-drive rigging and engine building than I'll ever know. He learned so much working with Rudy Ramos, who still refers people to Paul when asked who can provide bulletproof setups on this side of the country. Some of his business still comes from the West Coast...Billy's tellin' ya, Paul Fitzgerald is good. Very good.
Paul's also a championship APBA inboard driver, so he's not just a ski-boat kinda guy.
Yea, Paul's a friend of mine. I want to see him succeed at this too. Since he's not a computer type, I'll try to post some photos for y'all.

Now here's rigging for you...interior shot of Tarheel Gambler.
Neat, clean, attention to detail, measure thrice, cut once.
He built the engine and rigged this boat.
I think I've got a couple of photos of his smlin' face (he won this heat) that I'll have to scan when I have time.

Here he is ripping across Lake Castaic in Raysoncraft GN9.

Here's a closeup of that boat.
The first two I took at Lake Wheeler NC APBA Inboard race.
The GN photos were given to me by Rudy Ramos.

Tim Thanks for the positive comments about the paint work MANIC MECHANIC. And Dave, nice pics. Make sure you only put the ones up with no "GRAY" hair on him. He tends to get alittle touchy about that.
