OK I can finally get back to my boat. I drug her out of the barn and Saturday I am going to ck the jets. i looked in my Clymer book and could not find my carb #'s. I'll let you know Sat.
Thanks Ducky. I plan on looking at her tonight. Today I have to first do all the repairs on the tractor and Grasshopper. last year everybody was a bit rough on them. and the grass is getting long.
"They cut the grass I fix the mower" I guess thats not to bad

Someone has definitely has their grubby "d**k beaters" on those carbs. That jetting would be right if you were spinning the motor to 7500+ rpm, and didn't care about idle quality. If you are using the motor like a regular person (under 6200rpm at WOT) then I would buy the jets and drop it back to what I previously suggested. If you are running it in the high 6000's, then i'd say drop back to 74's or 76's in all but #2 and #5 (2 higher in those holes), then change your idle air jets to clean up the idle. Probably .048's or .050's
Please keep in mind that these are mearly suggestions. YOU MUST CHECK YOUR PLUGS AFTER A WOT RUN TO CONFIRM JET SIZE!!!
Have Fun!
Do you know who makes a good EGT for outboards?
There are a few companies. You would have to look over on Scream and Fly for the contact info. I think Eagle One Performance sells one (I don't think they make it), and Chuck Goodman (Nitrox) makes and sells one. Look up "You Te" on this board as well, as I think he has one from the MAD Efi people.
If it were me, I wouldn't worry about an EGT setup, unless the motor is really hot rodded and you are looking for that "perfect setup"

Hyrdro Dynamics. (318) 965-0201
I believe You Te got his pyro from Hydro Dynamics. He might use something different now but I doubt it. They have a nice gauge, the right probes and adapters for an outboard, and a pretty sharp price too.
I have always set up my other 2 strokes with a EGT In fact I have a Digitron dual prob unit that I am not using. I know my engine is not all tricked out but if I am going to dial it in I want to do it right. Besides gadgets are cool What do guys think about a light weight flywheel or changing her over to a MAD EFI. Am I stupid or would it be the hot ticket for a 16' 200hp boat? She is pretty fast now but I want FAST out of the hole and FAST on top end.
