I am currently running a B&M 250 Blower with dual 750's, at about 6lbs of boost, i have a smaller pulley to run on the blower to bump up the boost, but what am i going to put more pressure on when i run the boost up. The boost should go up to about 8lbs with the pulley.Is this going to put more stress on the lower end of the motor or ???
I had the same set up om my 454. Ran 7 pounds of boost no problem. If the motor's built right, pistons, head gaskets, valves, etc, you'll be fine. What are you running compression and timing wise?

its not the extra pressure on the motor you need to worry about,it the detonation the kills the motor.
8 psi should be fine as long as your running 9:1 or lower. If you are running 9:1 I wouldnt run anyhting less then premium and u may want to mix some av gas in there. With 8.5:1 or lower youll be fine with PSI and premium unleaded.
Yeah i am running 8to1 on the compression and the motor has all the good parts in it, just curious about the boost but you guys helped me out thanks.
