Do you S. Orange County guys take the 5 south to Ortega Hwy and go through the canyon and end up looking at Elsinore? that is the best way to me. I love carving that canyon in my Maxima.

It is a good view when you see Elsinore from the top of the canyon. Just makes you want to make a straight line for the lake and say **** all the roads.
It's not so bad during the weekdays, but on the weekends....hard to keep your eye on the lake when you're dodging motorcycles coming at you in your own lane...
