Hey D- are you going? What years are they allowing?
I'm thinking it is open to anyone who wants to go.
but they do give prizes for some things like best gel coat and best this or that. Don't expect to win if you have a newer rig as it's not a classic just yet.
But come on out! I will be there too.
Do you think that they will notice if it is automotive paint instead of gelcoat? We gelcoated the bottom but the painter couldn't lay out the graphics in gel coat so he is airbrushing the top in auto paint. I sure hope the boat is done so I can take it!
I am definately going, it is for classics, but all boats are welcome, it is going to be a blast. I already reserved my room. I dont know the rules, but classic to me is anything in the 80's or older.
