I'm in Glendale .........How long to get to Roosevelt????
I know the lake is low but it is still bigger than most in AZ. What is the water level and is launch easy?
Here is KC's pics from May at Roosevelt (http://community.webshots.com/album/142095904GtzOwm). I've heard that the lake is up from last year, but still below high water.
If I ever get my boat straightened out, I'll be making a few trips up there in July as well.

Pr'ly 2, 2 1/2 hours to get up there. Head towards Payson, hook a right towards Punkin Center and you've got about 20 to 30 minutes from there depending upon which ramp you go to. Or you could go the "back" way around Globe/Miami.
It's been since 1989 that I've been on the lake. Too long.

Hey now, some of us down here know we're backwards, we just don't want the whole world to know.
As of 6/24 the lake is at 34%. The best it has been in the past few years. I am heading up in 3 weeks for the day. From what I hear, all of the good ramps are in the water without any problems. My parents have taken their 27' Hallet the 3 times this summer witout any problems at the lake or enroute (globe way).
Is there construction on the road once you turn off the Beeline?
I need to know if there are barriers on that road, because if so I have a problem.
From Gilbert road at the Beeline, you are at the Roosevelt turn off in 35-40 minutes driving (without trailer). 1.5 hours to the lake from Gilbert road and Beeline.
