Thread: Title 24 lighting?

I am doing an addition/remodel on my house and am pretty sure that I need to install flourescent lighting in my addition per title 24. The problem is that they are EXPENSIVE. from what I can tell it will run me about 120$- 150$ per 6" can instead of just being able to use the el-cheapo contractor pack from HD.
Is there any way around this?

Damn, I could buy some more 6" speakers for that kind of coin.

Now your back on the right track. That could buy a lot of Nathan's Hot Dogs too.

i pretty much ignore title 24 100% of the time. put in whatcha want copy a title 24 form and fill in the numbers . submit to city. they wont know the difference 99% of the time. just be sure to list the flourescent equivlent for all the down lights and such . no says you have to keep the expensive things in there. peplace with normal lamps/bulbs-if you don't just use them in the first place.
