OK, I got the jet rebuild thing down pretty good; my new AT AA impeller has such a nice hole shot now that a 14 yr. old could (and did, yesterday) drive it right up onto the dock! Now I need advice on repairing a fairly deep 6" long scratch in the hull. The scratch starts shallow and ends deeper, but I don't think it actually penetrated the hull. I have repaired similar scratches/gouges in a fiberglass surfboard with epoxy paste. What is the right way to do it on the boat? Any downside to filling it with the epoxy?
Thanks in advance for the input. . .
