I have 20,000+ baseball cards (4 boxes of 5,000 each). The years range from 1984 or so up to ~1994. This includes, Topps, Topps Stadium Club, upper Deck, donruss, bowman, triple play, Fleer, Fleer Ultra, among others. These are mostly common cards. I need to make room in my closet and have no use for these cards now. The average common card is worth ~$0.05 from Beckett Magazine, but I can sell lower than that.
Anyone want to make me an offer?

Kings,
I would love to buy them for a charity auction. It is to fund a baseball program at u publib high school. Without getting in to too many details, we have to raise over $120,000 during the next 6 mos. to keep the program going.
Just let me know what your bottom line price is and I will consider it. I would be buying them and donating them to the auction.

Donate them and write them off on your taxes for full face value for sure!!!!
W.I.K.
That is an excellent idea. We are a 501 (c) (3) organization. It would be totally legit for your write off.

Actually I may consider that.
A year ago I went through each card and priced them out. The total was I believe around $1500 if I recall ( I will have to go in and look at the receipt clip I put in there). I was trying to get about $400 for them, but since they are commons they are hard to get much for.
But I would have not problem donating them if I could get full face value writeoff. I can check what the amount is when I get home.
