The boat is pretty much sold, I'll probably end up carrying the buyer. I told him I would take the deal after the holidays. Still looking for another buyer to buy it out-right in the mean time.

I don't kow everyone's personal finances, but what held up one of my buyers is debt to income ratio, not credit. The bank wanted to see less than 40% for a boat loan. Since his wife owns her own business, they only have his income to show for all their cars, house, etc..
