    Hello all...
With the help of Jack (MPD), one of my fathers race hulls has been located still surviving (well, actually the pump found Jack recently...lol) as a converted ski boat in the desert of Calif. I have always kept an ear open and watched various posting over the years in hopes one was still around and in use. I have made contact and pictures are on the way of its current condition (snail mail).....needless to say, no sleep for me last night due to the flood of memories.
My father and Jack raced together for many years in the 70's. His boats where all red, blue and silver with the name of "Peacemaker" and the number of "294". And of course as many in here know, Jack with his number "123" hulls (most of my memory is of the unnamed solid white hull...what was that hull brand Jack, I dont remember ?). And in thought of place diverters, they scratch built the first couple in existence, and raced with them !!
Does anyone else out there know the where abouts or history of any of the other hulls my father raced ? Are there more which survived and are being used today ? Most of my old pictures are of the Hondo and Hornet hulls. Jack can you send and/or post some pictures you have on your pc ? Does anyone have the pictures posted him in the past on the "realjetboats" webpage which is long gone now ?
With this I will close for now in hopes of finding out more and hearing from others.
    Thanks,
    Phil Jr

Sweet pictures! Thanks for sharing a little of jettings history with us.
Jack isn't being rude. He doesn't post on here. Several of his buddies and clients do however, and I'm sure they can get the point across to him. You may be better off phoning him directly.
You never mentioned your last name, and the boat doesn't ring a bell to us newbies. If you want anyone's specific help, post your dad's name, boat number and some more information, and there are lots of really smart old-schoolers on the forums.
Glad to hear you found one of his boats though. One step in the right direction.
    Squirts up!

    Thanks Froggy....
I posted the same wording on the other board as well, Jack will see it all there. Just continueing to search all over for the old hulls. The first one shown is a Saguaro (sp?) hull, this is the one that has been located. It is very unique to say the least. The pump is fixed, and it has twin rudders for steering !! The others listed are all Hondo hulls, and of course Jack's "123" white monster.
Our last name is Trichler, same first name hence the Jr for mine.
