Some say the spark arrestors are restrictive, others say they aren't.
they absolutely are, no question.
Sean great transaction ,The Big Blue pro stock delio will look great on my Place craft Dual Dom set up (paint even matches). Spectrasonly ,NICE stuff in the background there and yes thats the set up! We actually put a small bead of silicone on the bottom of the flame arrestor and let it cure to the scoop ,so it and the scoop are bonded , Josh likes to drill a small hole in the carb for a tiny roll pin and a cooresponding slot in the scoop base to keep the scoop from turning as well Tom
btw hey Spectras want another one ? lol

Gotcha... after looking at these two peices and thinking about it for a while the flame arestor will be the ticket for this one. Im glad the scoop is gonna work for you.

No , ,I was just teasin , i meant Spectras
Well they are installed.
Question with out actually tapping this sucker and putting in a pin will it always have some movement around the carb? Imagine looking down on it moving like a clock. it wont move on its own but i can move it with minimal effort. I have some ideas to increase the friction but wanted to know before i started to play with it.

I also think that looks better. I wish I'd have bought mine from Tom. I looked two years ago and had a hard time trying to find one period. I ended up gettin one out of jegs or summitt and the finish on it looks like $hit. BTW are you gonna run that scoop with the open end facing fwd or back Or maybe thats a whole nother thread.
It will always be a hassle to keep straight with just the stud holding it and they look like crap when you come in from a pass with a crooked scoop so try to do somethin to keeper straight.
Hass ,maybe check the 'roll pin idea" earlier in the thread ? (to keep the scoop straight Tom

Sean wind and vibration can move it for sure ,a tiny hole in the carb air horn to accept a "drive in" 1/8 roll pin and a cooresponding slot cut into the scoop base will do it Then top it off with a scoop cover your there !Tom
(sorry for the crappy art)
