So where does all the water go once it hits Havasu? 11,000 CFS out of Davis Dam and 7,000 CFS out of Parker but the lake level remains constant.
I don't know what the hell game and fish is thinking! Havasu's down 3 feet from max huh? They are full of crap!!!!! It's down like 15. I have never seen it this shallow before.
When you are headed from Parker to Havasu, once you pass the dam and are up the road a ways, look off on the right hand side and you will see a pump station. That pulls Colorado River water out of the river and puts it into the Central Arizona Project canal that takes river water, pursuant to the Colorado River Compact, from the river into Phoenix and ultimately on to Tucson.
And I know somewhere along those lines, Cali pumps water out of the river too... I'm thinking the two of those canals/pipelines could easily make up the difference in flows and keep the lake at about the same level.
That 'splains it. Thanks Jordy!
