I think most of the guys are just going with Clay Smith mechanical pump. You might want to do that since you are already plumbed for a mechanical pump.
What Fuel Pump are you guys using? My Holley Mechanical 130 gph has gone south. I'm looking at a Holley Black for $150.00 locally. How important is a return line? Are you using a relay controlled by the ignition? BBC 468, 8-71 w/ 2 Holley 750 DPs
Thx...

I followed Fiat48's advice last year and haven't had a problem since. The Clay Smith is a good pump.
Yea what they said.
Stay with the mechnical as suggested prior if it was me.
Clay Smith direct on pumps best way to purchase? I too have a holley mechnical that is several years old. I have been very happy with mechanical set up.
Thanks
Yep you can buy one direct from Clay Smith!..
I've had the same Holley Blue Electric pump in my Boat since 1976 I have changed the Top (brushes) and the bottom out with the rebuild kits and I've never had a Problem
RD will never go for it Rio, not enough flow rating.
heck i have a holley red then thru mechanical pump with a one way valve in between
I run a CV performance billet mechanical off the seawater pump. Works awesome dead reliable. Had some issues with a mallory 140 gph electric pump last season. Mechanical pumps are the way to go. By the way I have 2 electric pumps for sale cheap.
