Cav plate turn buckles

Does anybody have any info on the "aluminum" style turn buckles I have seen on some of the boats??? It looked like a large diameter aluminum tube being used??? Any info would be nice! :messedup:

BTW, I hear that someone is doing a run of 5/8" turn buckles. I think you know him too. I'm going to try and get him to make me a set.

I understand Bergeron Marine also has 1/2" aluminum turnbuckles.
