60min/80mph=0.75*70=52.5min+70min=122.5
The Honda never finished the race he only went one way. He didn't ride back. Weren't you paying attention?
Its not meant to be tricky like that.... it went 70 out and back....I paraphrased a little when I posted it. Its a real math problem not a riddle. But I like the way you think!!!
60min/80mph=0.75*70=52.5min+70min=122.5
lets do another one
The answer is: HE WILL NEVER USE THIS IN REAL LIFE.
60min/80mph=0.75*70=52.5min+70min=122.5
Didn't think to consolidate like that,
70/80 = .88 hour * 60 (to get minutes) = 52.8 minutes .8 minutes is 48 seconds so 52 minutes and 48 seconds to go out.
70/60 = 1.17 hours * 60 = 70.2 minutes, .2 minutes is 12 seconds. So 70 minutes 12 seconds back
70.12 + 52.48 = 122 min, 60 seconds = 123 minutes.......
What gives?
The answer is: HE WILL NEVER USE THIS IN REAL LIFE.
NOW THAT IS THE CORRECT ANSWER
NOW THAT IS THE CORRECT ANSWER
the Harley 122.5 min
the Honda 120.00 min
Didn't think to consolidate like that,
70/80 = .88 hour * 60 (to get minutes) = 52.8 minutes .8 minutes is 48 seconds so 52 minutes and 48 seconds to go out.
70/60 = 1.17 hours * 60 = 70.2 minutes, .2 minutes is 12 seconds. So 70 minutes 12 seconds back
70.12 + 52.48 = 122 min, 60 seconds = 123 minutes.......
What gives?
60min/70mph=0.857142857*140miles=120min
Didn't think to consolidate like that,
70/80 = .88 hour * 60 (to get minutes) = 52.8 minutes .8 minutes is 48 seconds so 52 minutes and 48 seconds to go out.
