He went to the logs. Nice way to do it but it will be hard to hit the inlet plates with out kinking the hose.
You could use a 90 under the tee and get the tee out from the blower belt like the guy with the green boat did.
Bending it up with hard line would look cool too.
SweetV, you had to tap your pump? This one was already threaded.

When I was having water pump problems because of the added pulley,I called glenwood marine and Bob there said that some of the neovane pumps where threaded, so that gave me the idea.
