I would think that set up would go a little faster. Is that a tall deck or LP? Where is your x?

its a tall deck. wrap around canopys.. i couldnt tell you the x never measured it . its set up from eliminator from the factory. at 101 it still had alittle to go but where i boat there is alot of traffic & you run out of clean water fast.im guessing it would go between 104-106?

I was wondering how much wind drag you would get with a open bow. Maybe even more with a walk thru. Would you do a walk thru again or just open bow?
I was also thinkiing of going high gear ration like 1.24 or so. Then I could run smaller pitch prop and get less stern lift. Plus I have also noticed the 5 blade has less lift.
Have you tried to get your props labbed? I think they can change the cup and get you less stern lift.

Walk thru again. Have a friend with 28 daytona and just bow rider. Pain to get down on all 4's to get to the front.
I have notice that the wind comes over the front of boat and then goes down. Hitting the front seats and lots of wind at floor in back of boat, the 28 bowrider does not have near as much wind at his back seat.
After I hit he 107 mark I went and put the stock Hydromotive on. Have not messed with it since.
