The design of those motors make it very difficult to get more power out of them. The block and head are one piece, so you cant shave the heads for compression and the reeds are part of the crank bearing saddles, so getting more flow is problematic, also, they do not like to be spun over 5800 rpm, so porting will not help..
I would just get it to run perfect and work on set up. Engine tune, motor height, props etc. Also, you have to run premium in those motors to keep them alive..
