starter question

can I use a regualar automobile starter on my sanger v drive or does it have to be marine?

i use a titan mini on mine i bought out of summit, you can use a car but beware of rebuilds . it takes alot of work to change so make sure you get a good one

had to sell my 76 hydro. i now have a 82 sanger mini day. more of a family boat. ill get another hydro soon

As long as the engine is not in an enclosed compartment you should be ok...
