Welcome Nokomis, good to hear from you again. I've found that the SMP version gives a lot more points per WU than the normal gui or console version. You may want to give it a try on your dual core machines, then you won't have to worry about running multiple instances. It will spawn 4 processes that will keep both cores busy. It's still in beta and supposedly doesn't support running under Vista as a service but in browsing through the forums a bit there is a way to get it to work. The other gotcha with it is that it doesn't support checkpointing, so if you reboot your machine or power it off on a regular basis it will have to restart from the beginning. I've lost a couple of >80% WU's that way due to my power going out from storms here.
On my non-OC'ed E6400 it's taking about 2 days to complete a SMP WU. I've also got an ATI X1950pro on order which should be here in a few days and I will be able to put it to work running the GPU client. I'd been meaning on upgrading my video card for a while and this gave me a good excuse
Ill give the smp version a try, theres a nice point boost for the bigger work units used when running the smp version.
That new vid card should really up your points/day. GPU and PS3 clients are ass-kickers. I wish I had the option of running the GPU version but all my gear is Nvidia and from what I understand the FAH client has trouble with Nvidia drivers.

Im sorry I havent replied sooner, but I wanted to have a chance to go to the website and understand how this works first, as Ive never heard of this before. Im leaving the country soon and Im taking my laptop with me. I dont know how much time I will have on my laptop while Im in Kuwait, so I think I will wait til I get there before joining.

The team is 11 members strong and our rank is now 5773 of 75745 so we've shot up pretty quickly. I suspect our progress up the team ranks will be much slower now but we should still go up a bit more over time.
