Well my excuse is I woke up on the bash A&E and Riverbound side of the bed today....so its all good...
To Bobaloo....go to Transonic and talk to them about them if you want more info you obviously felt they sounded good enough to open a thread about them......they are priced pretty reasonable when compared against the higher end stuff.

Good speaker but unnecessary if you use your boat in fresh water. If your boat only sees river/lake use take the same $$ you would spend and buy a better level of MB "car" speaker.

Pick the lighter one As in color or weight?
I know...go listen to them; I have heard the single W7 13.6 in a slot enclosure in a Tournament boat with 1000watts, and it hit like I could not believe....but getting the same setup with the D9 is kind of difficult... ...don't know of anyone who has one...

I know, but I kind of like the screw down grill. I already have them, but have yet to use them.

I really like the diamond stuff; had a Diamond 12 in the Eliminator and had real good sound for the low power we were throwing at it at......I am upgrading the sub/power in the BU at the end of the season, and I am contemplating going with Diamond 15 D9 or the JL W7 13.6....your thoughts?
I run 4 Diamond C4's (prototypes) in the 27' Advantage. They had me put them in there to test durability of them.
Without at least doubling the surface area of the the existing speaker, I doubt you will hear a signifigant difference. The next time I swing by the house we can look through the boat to some more air space and see if we can get a couple of more subs in that thing. Still don't know what can be done to keep up with the tower (that thing is obnoxiously loud).
